My approach to markets
Options trading has been a longstanding part of my professional life. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and my career included working with CommSec before building my own businesses.
Experience has taught me that a trading approach must be understood in the context of risk, capital, time and the ability to remain disciplined when conditions change. There is no substitute for knowing what can go wrong.
A considered perspective
My interests include exchange-traded options in Australian and US markets, portfolio thinking and the practical demands of managing positions over time.
I value preparation, consistent processes and an honest assessment of uncertainty. The lessons that matter most are often those learned when markets do not behave as expected.
Selective conversations
I do not operate a mass-market seminar or training business. I welcome thoughtful enquiries from people interested in discussing experience, ideas and whether there is a suitable basis for a conversation.
Any professional engagement would be considered separately, with its scope and terms agreed in advance.
Articles and observations
The Journal provides a place for perspectives on markets, decision-making and risk. Material on this website is general information about my experience and interests, not a personal recommendation to trade. Options involve risk, including the potential for substantial losses.
