A journey built around you
Some experiences deserve more than a standard itinerary. Travel with Charuka is for people seeking a personally arranged wildlife journey, a private photography expedition or a thoughtful companion in the field.
My travels have introduced me to experienced local guides and remarkable places around the world. That knowledge helps shape journeys around the wildlife you hope to encounter and the way you prefer to travel.
Personal attention, from the first conversation
We begin with your interests, target species, dates and priorities. Accommodation, transport, guiding and the pace of the journey can then be considered as part of an individual brief.
Whether you value time in the field, comfortable accommodation, privacy or a carefully balanced itinerary, those preferences guide the planning.
Private wildlife journeys
- Planning around target birds and wildlife
- Local guiding and logistics arranged to the agreed brief
- Accommodation and transport suited to your preferences
- Private travel for individuals, couples and small groups
- Enquiries welcomed through a personal assistant or representative
Wildlife encounters are never guaranteed. Careful research, local knowledge, patience and flexibility give each journey its best opportunity.
Photography expeditions and assignments
I am available to discuss selected expedition leadership and photography assignments. This can include photographing the journey for you, documenting wildlife encounters or working to a specific photographic brief.
Image delivery can be arranged on memory cards or through another agreed method. File formats, editing, usage rights, exclusivity and any copyright assignment are agreed in writing before the engagement. Client photographs are not used publicly without permission.
Discretion by design
Your enquiry is handled personally. Names, travel plans and preferences are treated with care, and public references to clients or their journeys require permission.
The right fit
Each journey is individually planned and quoted. This service is intended for travellers who value personal attention, specialist preparation and arrangements tailored to their needs.
Please include an indicative budget with your enquiry so that we can assess the right level of accommodation, logistics and support from the outset.
