Wildlife conservation
Time spent in the field brings the pressures on wildlife into focus. Habitat loss and changes to the places animals depend on are not abstract issues when you have seen those landscapes for yourself.
Through investment businesses I manage, I have supported wildlife conservation projects. I welcome proposals from people undertaking thoughtful conservation work or research involving threatened species.

My Australian Big Year
In 2022, I set out to photograph as many bird species as I could across Australia in a calendar year. The final result was 774 species seen and 772 photographed.
The journey brought together a love of birds, the challenge of photography and a willingness to keep travelling in search of one more encounter.
